The travel wallet that my daughter and I saw at the store has won!
You can read about all the ideas below, but in the coming week I’ll be sketching and testing and sewing up my own (colorful) version of the last project.
Keep your eyes on my emails to see what I make!
A sweet and roomy zipper pouch.
I love how the gathers at the top of this zipper pouch make it soo roomy! I bet I could fit so much inside - especially with a long zipper that opens up wide.
If this project wins, I’ll sew with with quilting cotton and a lovely wide handbag zipper - probably not a metal zipper (but that’s fine too if you choose).
A Boxy Market Tote
This picture is of a bag I saw at Alt Summit last week. I was so intrigued by it that I asked the owner if I could take a picture!
Since this bag is so big - I’d definitely need to use foam stabilizer.
Oh, but I love the buttons on top.
A Travel Wallet
My daughter and I saw this at a store last month and almost bought it - until I thought, ‘I can make that much cuter!’
This wallet opens up and has 3 angled pockets inside - see an alternate photo in the collage above. I love the pen holder too.
Could you use this for summer travel?
