Yay for our U-Pick Sewing Tutorials!
What do you want to sew this month? Show me by voting for it!
I’m so excited for the holidays… Christmas decorations are popping up in stores, I love the smell of cinnamon brooms at grocery stores, and my pile of handmade gifts is getting larger!
So I hope you don’t mind that I threw a holiday project in the mix for you to vote for this month. :)
Let’s get to the choices…
But first… did you see the tutorial for last month’s U-Pick Project?
The yarn bag is amazing… perfect for all your friends who knit or crochet!
But I know you came here to vote so let’s get to the choices for October:
Are you curious about sewing with cork fabric?
Or do you already have cork scraps leftover from sewing gorgeous cork bags?
Either way, this cute little cork wallet is perfect. It looks so easy. It will use up small pieces of cork. And it will make an adorable gift!
Will it get your vote?
On the other hand, this vinyl and fabric bag is so intriguing.
You already know how much I love sewing with vinyl.
And this bag would be so much cuter with pretty quilting cotton instead of plain black fabric.
What do you think?
Lastly, here’s the holiday project: a pretty ruffled tree skirt!
And it’s another project that needs more color, more prints!
I would cut some cute Christmas fabrics into strips, sew them together, use my rolled hem foot for an easy finished edge, and then use my gathering foot to make lots of ruffles.
I’m already getting excited!
Is this the project that will win?
What will it be???
Remember... you only have a week to vote! Whatever project wins, I'll be sewing my own version and then giving you a tutorial the week after that. So vote below for the project that you'd like to see me sew!
Next Monday voting will be closed and I'll announce the winner. Then I'll get started sewing it up. Make sure you sign up for my free newsletter so you don’t miss the free tutorial.
