Yay for our U-Pick Sewing Tutorials!
What do you want to sew this month? Show me by voting for it!
I really appreciate you helping me to know what free tutorial to write next, because there are so many things that I want to sew, I could never get to them all.
In case you didn't see the tutorial, last month’s 2 Zip Hip Bag sewing pattern turned out better than I ever dreamed. It was the #1 thing that we brought on our little summer weekend trip to the water park.
But I know what you really came here for is to vote… so let’s get on with picking our next sewing project!
Baskets are some of your favorite things to sew - and mine (I know by how popular my 9 Must Make DIY Fabric Basket Patterns post is).
This would be a lovely basket design to try. There are no exposed seams, the outside fabric folds to the inside a little, and there are sweet leather handles (so easy, BTW). Using foam stabilizer would make this basket stand up like the picture too.
Would you vote for it?
On the other hand, I’m so intrigued by this cute cross body bag. There are snaps instead of zippers (something we haven’t done in a while) and it looks like 3 lined interior compartments or pockets.
If this project wins, I’m going to have a fun time figuring it out!
Will it get your vote?
Or would you like to sew yourself an easy, breezy scarf like vest.
I think this design would be easy to make, and pretty much one size fits all (or I could tell you how to size it up or down).
Using sheer fabrics would make it a perfect summer to fall transition piece.
Are you going to vote for it?
So what will it be???
Remember... you only have a week to vote! Whatever project wins, I'll be sewing my own version and then giving you a tutorial the week after that. So vote below for the project that you'd like to see me sew!
Next Monday voting will be closed and I'll announce the winner. Then I'll get started sewing it up. Make sure you sign up for my free newsletter so you don’t miss the free tutorial.
