Winter has finally arrived in our sunny state (Florida) and it is chilly! I am in love with anything that looks warm and cozy!
Last month, the Christmas Gnome took home a surprise win for our U-Pick tutorials (at least it was a surprise to me, lol). He turned out so adorable - I hope you got the chance to sew one up!
Here are the projects that inspired me for our December U-Pick Challenge. Which one inspires you most?
Make sure you scroll to the bottom to vote. Whichever one wins will be made into a free tutorial coming soon.
I found these cute corduroy bags on Amazon and I think they are the perfect candidate for sewing up.
They are already made of fabric (not leather or vinyl) and we learned a similar method for attaching handles in the Chubby Lunch Tote.
Of course, they need cuter fabric. And the optional label on front gives me so many ideas: texty fabric, cork, embroidery, or something else!
Do you want a cute corduroy bag? Vote for it!
My daughter fell in love with this plaid poncho wrap when we were Black Friday shopping (at J.C. Penny), but I have such a hard time buying something that I know I could sew. And now it’s out of stock online
Are you going to vote for me to sew one up for her?
A tisket, a tasket, we have to make a Basket!
Is this basket what you want me to show you how to make?
You gotta vote!
Use the widget below to vote for our U-Pick project for December.
In a week the voting will close and I'll announce the winning project.
Give me 1 week to figure it out and sew my own version.
Then I'll take one more week to sew it again and take pictures so I can write a sewing tutorial for you.
This is going to be fun so make sure you vote and share so your friends vote too!
UPDATE: Voting for this project is closed. The winner was the DIY Woven Fabric Basket. Enjoy!
