This month's mini quilt is making me want to go to Hawaii!!! And eat pineapple. But who could eat something so cute?
Our delightful little Aloha Mini Quilt was designed for us to enjoy this month by the darling Mandy of Sew Quirky. I first became familiar with her work at Quilt Market 2017, and we all swooned over her Frankie the Frenchie Pillow that I posted a picture of. Make sure you scroll down to the bottom to enter to win that fabulous pattern plus two more.
The Aloha Mini Quilt will have you sewing appliqué pieces while dreaming of sandy beaches. At least that's what it did for me! You can see my Aloha mini quilt and my mini quilt wall here.
I suggest using embroidery thread like I did to really bring those shapes to life.
Mandy provides lots of instructions and tips in her pattern so anyone can succeed in creating a little pineapple mini quilt masterpiece.
I can't wait to see all the Aloha mini quilts that you make! If you email me a picture, I'll be sure to include it in one of our Thursday blog posts. Share your mini quilt on Instagram with the hashtag #sewcanshemonthlyminis so I can find it there too.
And now who wants to win three adorable Sew Quirky Patterns??? Mandy has generously offered Frankie the Frenchie, Furlicity the Feline, and Pandora the Panda in either PDF or paper format to one lucky reader. Since Sew Quirky hails from Australia, this giveaway is open to International readers too! (except where prohibited) Enter as many times and you can during the month of March using the widget below. Good luck!!!
