What do you want me to sew next and write about for you??? That was the question that I asked last week, and you voted!
There were 3 sweet ideas to choose from… a cute circle pouch for holding cords and stuff, a baby swaddle set, and a lovely color blocked tote.
Can you guess which project won the vote?
It was the color blocked tote!
I can’t remember where I found this bag, but I’m so glad I saved a picture!
The shape and straps are minimalistic. The beauty of it is in the details.
When I sew my own version (and write a tutorial) I’m going to preserve the lovely details of this bag, including:
three different fabrics on the exterior
decorative rivets to reinforce the straps
a slightly inset zipper
and I think I will even cut a small rectangle of leather and make my own designer label.
Make sure you share your ideas in the comments below. It’s always a lot of help!
Hopefully I'll have a bag ready to show you in about a week. Give me a week after that to draft the pattern. In the meantime, you might like my Ultimate List of Fast and Easy Bags to Sew.
