I love this little whale basket so much I can’t tell you!
My sister in law just had a little boy and I’m helping plan a whale themed shower for her. With that in my mind I came across two fat quarters of this darling ‘whale family’ fabric from Cosmo and it was perfect!
(I got the fabric at Maigo. She’s out of the FQ’s, but she still has yardage in the neutral color way.)
I used my free FQ sized Fold Up Basket tutorial.
I think it’s so funny how I visit my own website to remember cutting dimensions and instructions for things that I designed myself.
But it sure helped to not have all that trial and error again!
The Fat Quarter Sized Fold Up Baskets take just 2 fat quarters of fabric and an 18’’ x 20’’ piece of Peltex.
They are handy for storing so many things.
Not just diapers!
But I’m sure Megan is going to love these as much as I do.
Her little boy was 9 pounds, 10 ounces, quite the little whale himself! LOL.
What have you been sewing up this week? It’s time for you to show off! Did you make something with one of my free sewing tutorials or patterns? I would love to see. Tag me on Instagram @sewcanshe.
