This week I had a baby shower emergency.
Like, oh no! It's tomorrow, and I don't want to go to the store.
Luckily, I keep a stash of baby diapers and wipes in my closet (even though my 'baby' is 9, lol) and the stash is just for moments like this.
Usually I sew up a Big Pocket Baby Clutch, but I wanted to try something different.
You might remember that this little tote was one of the contenders in our U-Pick Sewing Challenge in July.
It didn't win, but that doesn't mean that I can't sew it up anyway!
There's even a sweet pocket on the back so baby-mommy can keep the essentials handy.
The handle is attached to the back of the tote (instead of the top) so it won't pull the snap open when you pick it up.
I'm working on a tutorial for this, hopefully I can get it done by next week. Make sure you are subscribed to my newsletter if you don't want to miss it.
And speaking of U-Pick Sewing Challenges... the vote for this month's project is so close! Every time I check the winner has switched from the bag to the basket and then back to the bag. Make sure you vote (and tell your friends to vote too) so the project that you want to make wins! ❤️
And now it’s time for you to show off! What have you been sewing up this week? Did you make something with one of my free sewing tutorials or patterns? I would love to see. Tag me on Instagram @sewcanshe.
