I love our U-Pick Sewing Projects! This blog series is like my own little sewing challenge - YOU challenge me to put on my thinking cap and try something new!
Have you sewn a sweet Drawstring Ditty Bag yet - last month's U-Pick sewing project? I think the free pattern turned out better than the inspiration photo! I've stashed away the three that I made so I can use them for extra special gift bags. ❤️
So here are my ideas for what our U-Pick Sewing Project could be this month. Make sure you vote to help determine what it will be!
This is a cute diaper clutch with an exterior pocket on the back.
It would be perfect for new moms, but I think I'd like one to carry my journal and writing tools! Or maybe lunch. :)
My sister sent me this project idea - a clever mini tool caddy.
The picture shows it with crochet hooks, but I bet it would be great for make-up brushes, small tools, or even crayons.
One of my readers asked me for a project like this - a pool chair cover with pockets that folds into a tote!
I'm thinking that beach towels are going on sale already and I could use a nice big one to make this - just add some coordinating fabric for the upgrades.
So what will our next U-Pick Sewing Project be?
Use the widget below to vote for our U-Pick project for July. In a week the voting will close and I'll announce the winning project. Give me 1 week to figure it out and sew my own version. Then I'll take one more week to sew it again and take pictures so I can write a sewing tutorial for you. This is going to be fun so make sure you vote and let all your friends vote too!
