Helllllloooo weekend! We've got a busy few days planned, but I'm excited to pop in and share some pictures of these cute pouches that I sewed up this week.
I'm calling them Clippie Zippies! :)
First I sewed up a batch of my Continuous Bias Binding from a fat quarter. Then I used the 3 1/2 yards of bias binding that gave me to sew up 4 cute Clippie Zippies.
I experimented with different materials for the front of the pouch, using vinyl, mesh, and regular quilting cotton.
The mesh is really awesome!
Anyway, I was thinking of using these as teacher gifts since my kids only have 8 days of school left. At first I was thinking of filling them with school supplies, but then I reconsidered. I'm sure they would much rather receive chocolate! :)
Let me know if you'd like a tutorial for the Clippie Zippies. They are really fast and easy.
And don't forget to vote for the U-Pick Sewing Tutorial that I'll also be working on this month!
Now it's your turn to show off what you've been sewing up. What have you been working on? Upload a picture and show us in our Show Off Saturday Picture Party!
Remember, you don't need to have blog to add your picture and show off something you made this week. Just leave the 'link' field blank. But if you do have a blog and want to add a link to your picture, great! The most clicked link will be spotlighted here next Friday.
I would love it if you shared on Instagram too with the hashtag #showoffsaturday. Let's spread the party worldwide!
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
Please, no links to items for sale. Those links will be deleted. Thank you!
