Don't you just love it when you can use up scraps and make something useful at the same time? Then when it turns out beautiful too I'm over the moon!
I started thinking about Mother's Day this week and at the same time I had this pile of 'ribbons' on my sewing table. Don't be confused - 'ribbons' is the name I give those skinny strips of fabric that get cut off, but are too pretty to throw away.
I decided to use my fabric 'ribbons' to sew my fabric ribbons into Mother's Day cards! I plan on sending one to my sister (don't read that Beka!) and a friend or two that I think are great moms, so that's why I made more than one. Also because I was having so much fun that I couldn't stop.
If you want to sew up some Mother's Day cards too then stay tuned (sign up for my Newsletter) because I'm going to show you on Monday - yay!
Now it's your turn to show off what you've been sewing up. Did you make something with one of my free sewing tutorials or patterns? I would love to see! Tag me on Instagram @sewcanshe.
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
