I had to accidentally find a yard of adorable red gnome fabric in my stash… so I sewed myself two bags from it.
Merry Christmas to me, lol!
I already moved all my purse items to the smaller bag and I’m going to use the larger bag for toting gifts to all the get-togethers we have on our schedule.
I guess that means I’m ready, if only all the gifts were!
I used the One Yard Magic pattern that Lecien Fabrics let me share last year. My instructions include step by step photos, plus how to make them a zippered bags!
On a Side Note: did you like my festive flay lay photo at the top of this post? I recently watched a Craftsy Class called ‘Flat Lay Your Life’ and it was awesome. The instructor was so enthusiastic and offered so many helpful tips that I couldn’t wait to try shooting a flat lay photos for myself. That photo above is my first one - and I took it with my iPhone! If you play with photography or want to give flay lay a try, I totally recommend her class.
So, what have you been sewing up this week? Did you make something with one of my free sewing tutorials or patterns? I would love to see! Tag me on Instagram @sewcanshe.
