Due to an unexpected visitor last weekend named Irma (who took out our power for a couple days and our A/C for... well still counting the days) I didn't get much sewing done this past week. But I did come across a beautiful new quilt pattern + calendar that I totally have to share.

If you are like me, you can't live without calendars! I have one on the wall for all of our family activities (and the chore chart!), a thick blogging and sewing project planner that I use to plan what I write about here, a bill paying calendar for our household finances (how did that job fall to me?) and then 2 more online calendars! I'm not saying that more is better. I'm just saying I couldn't function without calendars to remind me of things I have to do!

Well, I recently found out that two of my online sewing buddies, Heather Valentine of The Sewing Loft and Amy Ellis of Amy's Creative Side teamed up to make a calendar for quilters!

Heartland Heritage is a desk calendar for 2018 that is also a block of the month pattern. Along with reminding you what day it is (I need that!) it will give you a new quilt block pattern each month to help you grow your skills and shrink your fabric stash...
Until you have a gorgeous scrappy quilt at the end of the year! I think I'm going to need this quilt too!
You can read more about Heartland Heritage here on the Inspiring Stitches blog.
Okay... time to pass the Show Off Saturday torch to you... what have you been stitching up? Share a photo with us in our Show Off Saturday Picture Party!
Remember, you don't need to have blog to add your picture and show off something you made this week. Just leave the 'link' field blank. But if you do have a blog and want to add a link to your picture, great! The most clicked link will be spotlighted here next Friday.
I would love it if you shared on Instagram too with the hashtag #showoffsaturday. Let's spread the party worldwide!
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
Please, no links to items for sale. Those links will be deleted. Thank you!
xoxo,
