The handles are made with Robert Kaufman Essex Linen (another cotton linen blend fabric) that I love.
This bag is 1'' shorter than the first lunch tote I made. I can't decide which size is best - I guess it depends on what you need to fill it with!
And good news... I took pictures as I made this and took construction notes so I'm ready to write the sewing tutorial! After reading all of your comments on this post, it's clear that when you are only cutting squares and rectangles, you would much rather have cutting dimensions than printable pattern pieces. So that's what my tutorial will have. :)
Watch for the Chubby Lunch Tote sewing pattern and tutorial on Wednesday. But, of course, you can use regular batting or fusible fleece instead of insulated batting and use this little tote for lots of other things... What would you carry in it?
Oh, and don't forget to click over to my giveaway page this week. I've partnered with Craftsy to giveaway my video class Colorful Patchwork Bags and Baskets plus some beautiful fabric charm squares and interfacing!
