Who's ready for an adorable boxy tote that is fit to carry anything you want... including lunch?
Since the 'UnTutorial' photo for this tote was a lunch bag, I made mine with Insulbright batting (which will keep food hot or cold). But really, this bag would be great for a small purse, a church tote (perfect for scriptures!), or storing small toys (legos, anyone?).
And it's fast and easy... what more could you want?
Okay now, I'm playing around with sewing a slightly smaller size, but I'll share with you the cutting dimensions for sewing this one too if you like it.
The pattern (coming next Wednesday!) will be totally fat quarter friendly. Today I decided to use this Flower Sugar Maison fabric (from Lecien) because it has an adorable striped border that was perfect for the handles.
Question for you... if a pattern calls for you to cut only squares and rectangles, would you rather have the cutting dimensions or pattern pieces to print and cut out? I'm interested in what you think, so let me know in the comments!
xoxo,
