This week I finally got my hands on some Boundless Flower Shoppe Charm Squares and I decided to sew a Patchwork Bag to give my sister for her birthday... I sure hope she isn't reading this!
I used the pattern in my Craftsy class Colorful Patchwork Bags and Baskets... have you seen it?
One Flower Shoppe charm pack plus one yard of gridded interfacing was enough to make the charm square tote above (it takes 24 - 5'' squares) plus...
A mini-charm basket! I made the basket by cutting 8 charm squares into fourths to make 2 1/2'' mini-charm squares - 32 of them is just enough for my little patchwork basket!
The tote can be made with tons of exterior pockets... yay!
Plus interior pockets, of course.
The best thing about the projects in Colorful Patchwork Bags & Baskets is they are completely scalable... sew tiny pouches and baskets with mini-charms... or any size you want up to huge baskets and bags with 10'' layer cake squares!
And right now the SewCanShe giveaway includes my Class + 2 Flower Shop Charm Packs + 1 Yard of Gridded interfacing. Enter now!
xoxo,
