It's the first Monday of the month and time slipped away from me... my Classic Blocks: Fresh Fabrics quilt block is not ready yet!
To be fair, we moved last month, most of my sewing room is still packed while I remodel my new studio, and to top it all off it's summer so I have minions running around needing to be fed, clothed, and generally entertained. :)
This week I've been working on the pattern for a supremely awesome Drunkerd's Path quilt block that is perfect for traditional and modern variations.
Plus I have found a way for sewing the curved seam that is so easy anyone can do it! Should I test it on my 7 year old to prove it?
The fat quarter bundle that I'm giving away this month in our little sewalong is called 'See You Later' by Maude Asbury for Blend Fabrics. Aren't those the most delightful little birds? I can hardly bear to cut them up.
So bear with me for one more week while I get the modern Drunkard's Path block pattern ready. In the meantime, check out my Pinterest board with all the previous Classic Blocks... there's lots there. And you might also find something to sew among all the free patterns in my Craftsy shop!
