This Pinterest UnTutorials Series is my favorite thing I've ever written. Every month you (my readers) help me make something awesome!
This past week I took your suggestions for the Cross Body Tote and it turned out better than even I expected. This pattern is worth paying for, lol! But of course, the free tutorial will be yours next Wednesday, because that's how this works. :)
UPDATE: It is ready! Find the Convertible Cross Body Tote tutorial here.
You guys asked for slip pockets (I put them on the inside) and an interior hook for clipping keys, a ring with loyalty cards, or whatever you want - DONE!
You also asked for a zipper pocket - DONE! I put it on the exterior, but it would be just as easy to put it on the inside if that's what you want.
My contributions to this bag are a convertible strap - because I wanted to carry it handbag style instead of cross-body. And boxed corners... did you notice that? Of course you don't have to make the strap convertible, you could just sew it to the side D-rings instead of using clips. And you don't have to box the bottom corners either. It's all up to you!
Oh, and except for the strap, this little bag is fat quarter friendly! So come back next week and I'll show you exactly how I made it.
