Welcome to Show Off Saturday once more! It's time to share what you've been working on and I have a pillow to share.
I got busy with my needle felting machine (it looks a lot like a sewing machine without thread) and finished this pillow for my sister Kat's birthday.
The applique on this pillow was inspired by some beautiful dome topped cathedrals I visited in Russia years and years ago.
I drew the design for this pillow digitally first so it could be used as an applique too. I'll polish it up and make it available to my readers if you are interested.
The pillow cover was made by hand-sewing the two felt squares together with a running stitch and pearle cotton. I inserted a pillow form before I sewed the last side. Easy!
So what have you been sewing this week? I love browsing our linky parties to see. :)
Remember, if you decide to post your picture(s) online (like on facebook, flickr, or your blog) the linky page will let you enter a link to the page where it is so we can visit it. If it's not posted online yet, you may skip that part and upload a picture from your computer. We all can't wait to see!
Don't forget, the most clicked project will be spotlighted here next Friday - just like Marilyn's Cool Campfire Tote!
I would love it if you shared our linky party on your blog... here's a button to make it easy.
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
