I had this idea for making a tool caddy using things around the house, and after a few tries, I'm so happy with what I sewed!
This is the #10 Caddy. It's great for organizing all of your sewing tools. Plus it can hold notions like interfacing, zippers, and thread. Can you guess why I'm calling it the #10 Caddy?
UPDATE: I finished the pattern! You can find it here.
Because there's a #10 can inside! The can fits snugly inside and makes it really sturdy.
Here's the first one I made. I hadn't perfected the pocket size yet, so these are a little tight. But it's great in my kitchen, holding utensils.
You all know that I wouldn't tease you with a fun project like this unless I could tell you where to find the pattern OR a pattern was coming soon. And the pattern is coming soon! I just need to finish writing it up and take a few more pictures. :)
Now it's your turn... what fun sewing projects have you made this week? Link them in our Show Off Saturday Linky Party below!
Remember, if you decide to post your picture(s) online (like on facebook, flickr, or your blog) the linky page will let you enter a link to the page where it is so we can visit it. If it's not posted online yet, you may skip that part and upload a picture from your computer. We all can't wait to see!
Don't forget, the most clicked project will be spotlighted here next Friday - just like Chrissie's Fabulous Dish Towels.
I would love it if you shared our linky party on your blog... here's a button to make it easy.
