Look what I got this week! A pop-up camper. I'm so excited. I've been saving my pennies and searching craigslist for something just right for our family and I finally took the plunge. It's not new - 15 years old, actually. But the previous owners took good care of it and I think (hope) it will last for another 10 years in our family.
And now I've got a delightful makeover project ahead of me, it makes me giddy just thinking about it. I mean, look at those vomit-colored curtains and mattresses with no quilts.
Those couch cushions are simply screaming 'recover me!'

In fact, I started taking the curtains down so I could take them in the house and measure them when my husband reminded me that I have a book deadline. It's looming over me like an elephant in the back seat of the car.
So I can plan, pick out fabrics, and pore over the Pop-up Princess' blog to my heart's content, but I can't actually get started until my newest book is turned in to the publisher. Let me tell you, that is totally the incentive I needed to kick my butt into gear. Watch for my pop-up makover 'after' pictures coming in a few months!
What about you? Any new sewing projects? Anything finished? Show us in our Show Off Saturday Linky Party!
Remember, if you decide to post your picture(s) online (like on facebook, flickr, or your blog) the linky page will let you enter a link to the page where it is so we can visit it. If it's not posted online yet, you may skip that part and upload a picture from your computer. We all can't wait to see!
Don't forget, the most clicked project will be spotlighted here next Friday - just like Leslie's Great Color Values Tips.
I would love it if you shared our linky party on your blog... here's a button to make it easy.
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
