I don't get to go to Spring Quilt Market next month in Minnesota... but some of my things will! This week I stitched up another 'Rope Handled Tote' in some beautiful new fabrics from Blend. It's a free pattern so make sure you try it!
Don't be afraid of the rope and grommets, they're easy to find in the home decor section at Joanns.
This adorable beachy fabric is called Sun-Sational. It's perfect for this tote I think. Our friends at Blend sent me the fabrics so I could sew it up for their booth. If you happen to be at Spring Quilt Market and you see it, make sure you take a picture for me!
So, what have you been sewing up this week? Did you make something with one of my free sewing tutorials or patterns? I would love to see! Tag me on Instagram @sewcanshe.

You know what that means, there is something new today at This Little Light.
The third Tuesday (like today), is when new journaling pages and other printable are released so members of my sewing support circle can keep on planning, journaling, and more.
When I got these gorgeous canvas fabric prints that look so awesome together, I knew I had to make a bag that showed off two prints at the same time. This is a big sturdy tote bag that's perfect for taking to the beach, yoga class, or just to the grocery store. There are pockets on the inside and lots of room too.
Our Monthly Mini Quilt Pattern this month is a new classic! I'm so in love with the Ladybug Liberty Mini Quilt that was designed for us by Fat Quarter Shop! Fat Quarter Shop is also giving away a $50 Gift Certificate with this month's free mini quilt pattern...
I LOVE to use the walking foot on my sewing machine (also known as an even-feed foot). I've gotten questions over the years about why I am using it for one project or another. So here's the (kind-of) long version if you want me to share all... Then I'll list the situations where I like to use it most.
Merry Christmas SewCanShe fans! I've been saving a present for you! Last year when I was putting my proposal together for Just For You, I wrote this Travel Jewelry Case Pattern. We figured out a few months later that it wasn't going to fit in the book, so I decided to save it for Christmas. And Christmas is here!
I'm so excited to finally share the Zippie Clippie pattern with you... this pouch has so many purposes that I'll never be able to count them all. Clip one on a backpack with pencils and school supplies. Clip another to your bag to hold your phone. Then sew another to hold your hand sewing kit while on road trips!
