I picked a coordinating Kona solid for each print, and then I tried out three gray backgrounds to go with them. The first one is Michael Miller Cotton Couture Fog, then Kona Coal, and the last one is Cotton Couture Gray. I decided to go with the medium color, Kona Coal. It seems to contrast well with all the colors, and it's not too dark.
Lots of chain piecing and pressing later, my blocks are done. Now I just have to stitch them together.
And... it's time for the Show Off Saturday Linky Party! What have you been stitching up?
Remember, if you decide to post your picture(s) online (like on facebook, flickr, or your blog) the linky page will let you enter a link to the page where it is so we can visit it. If it's not posted online yet, you may skip that part and upload a picture from your computer. We all can't wait to see!
Don't forget, the most clicked project will be spotlighted here next Friday.
I would love it if you shared our linky party in your blog post... here's a button to make it easy.
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
