I'm so excited... I get to giveaway another Quilt-As-You-Go Patchwork Bags Class! This is the second time that Craftsy has offered me the chance to giveaway this class. Well, for the first giveaway I got to choose whichever class I wanted to giveaway and I picked this class because I learned so much and absolutely loved the bag that I made (see below). I think it's fantastic that Craftsy is letting me do it again.
So this is the bag I made after watching Quilt-As-You-Go Patchwork Bags. Tara Rebman is an amazing instructor. I love her laid back sewing style. The quilt-as-you-go technique that she shares is totally improvisational and such a fun way to use up scraps.
This technique can also be used to make other items, like these potholders that one class member made. Tara teaches you the technique on potholders before you make your bag - so this project is included with the class.
And here's a cute clutch that another class member made. She adapted the quilt-as-you-go technique to a pattern that she already had. Once you learn the technique it's so easy! Watch Tara's Craftsy class yourself and see how!
*** Update*** This giveaway has ended. Congrats to the winner melonkelli, you should be hearing from Craftsy soon!
