Yay! It's done! I actually finished this quilt last Sunday night while it was still March so that means I made this whole quilt from start to finish in one month. That's a record for me considering how big it is.
There are twelve 17'' Friendship Star blocks on this quilt. I love how the darker ones contrast and the lighter one's don't. so you have to look closely.
If you remember, these friendship star blocks were part of our first Classic Blocks: Fresh Fabrics blog post in a series sponsored by Anna Griffin and Blend Fabrics. Someone won a beautiful fat quarter bundle of this collection (Grace by Anna Griffin).
These are the gorgeous fabrics from Blend that I'm using this month for Classic Blocks: Fresh Fabrics (Modern Eclectic by Khristian Howell). Make sure you come back on Monday to see me demonstrate how to piece together the classic quilt block that you all voted on last month. It's going to look so modern and sweet in these fabrics! And remember... you could win this fat quarter bundle just for making one block and posting it for us to see. More details on Monday!
So... what did you make this week? Share it with us. Works in progress are fun to look at too!
Remember, if you decide to post your picture(s) online (like on facebook, flickr, or your blog) the linky page will let you enter a link to the page where it is so we can visit it. If it's not posted online yet, you may skip that part and upload a picture from your computer. We all can't wait to see!
Don't forget, the most clicked project will be spotlighted here next Friday.
I would love it if you shared our linky party in your blog post... here's a button to make it easy.
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
