Welcome to Show Off Saturday... where we show off what we've been making during the week. Or, in this case I'm going to show off an apron my sister Beka made for me!
I love it so much. And I'm totally pumped that she made it with the pattern in my book Just For You. I don't think she knows this, but my co-author Sarah did most of the work on this apron pattern. She tested it, sewed up the photography sample, and made the photography step-outs. I was so busy with the other projects that I never got the chance to make one for myself. In case you are wondering, this apron was designed by the talented Leslie of Seasoned Homemaker.
Beka did everything perfectly on the apron including the cute pocket with a ruffle detail. She says that the fabric was thrifted - LOVE that! Here's my post about thrifted fabrics.
So what are you going to show us? Something you made for a Christmas gift? A gift someone sweet made for you? Or have you had time for some post-Christmas sewing? Share!
Remember, if you decide to post your picture(s) online (like on facebook, flickr, or your blog) the linky page will let you enter a link to the page where it is so we can visit it. If it's not posted online yet, you may skip that part and upload a picture from your computer. We all can't wait to see!
Don't forget, the most clicked project will be spotlighted here next Friday - just like Grandma G's Take-Off Tote.
I would love it if you shared our linky party on your blog... here's a button to make it easy.
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
