The judges' votes are in, and we have a winner... Ashley Hinton's gorgeous quilt top! She was one of the last entries I received (but still before the deadline) and I'm so glad she decided to sew along with us. I love those fabrics.
Let me tell you how much my judges complained about how hard it was to pick favorites. I'm so glad that I was not in their shoes. We had so many beautiful and imaginative entries. Be sure to browse through our {facebook photo album of entries} to see what everyone made. I'm so proud of us! In addition to our winner, we have four more entries that came close to winning. Here they are...

Kelly Booe's Monopoly board quilt was a huge hit. Let's play!
Shiloh's beautiful bag and zipper pouch are so enviable! And Shiloh even started a blog during our sewalong... go girl! Visit her blog by clicking on the photo above.

This is Adrienne's precious jumper. Love those exposed and frayed seams. Thank you for the inspiration!
And Shannon's entry had everyone saying, wow! We're all going to make some patio furnature. Or at least try. :)
Thank you so much to everyone who sewed along with us. When Sarah and I had the idea to try a sewalong we had no idea how much fun it would be. Our facebook group was amazing. Everyone gave such great comments and showed real support to each other. I guess we need to do this again. Stay tuned and make sure you've subscribed to our Sew Can She Newsletter so you'll know when we do.
Now, in case you haven't seen the surprise on the front page of Sew Can She yet, make sure you click the home button above to go see our bonus Slice Digital Cutter V-Day giveaway. I'm so excited to giveaway one of those amazing little tools.
Remember, you're all winners. Now you have a beautiful item you made yourself that you wouldn't have otherwise tried!
So keep on sewing up a great 2013!
