I've had a few questions posted about what Quilt Market is and what Sarah and I were doing all weekend, so here's my quickie explanation. Quilt Market is a trade show where everything that could possibly be sold at a quilt store is put on display, plus there was an utterly breathtaking display of quilts in a museum type setting. Shop owners, manufacturers, distributors, designers, and a few lucky bloggers showed up for Market this year.
If you don't fall into that category, you could (and should if you love fabric) attend Quilt Festival which is going on right now in the same location. It is open to the public, has many classes, the same amazing quilt show, and was highly recommended by everybody we talked to.
Fabric wrapped mummies.
Anna Maria Horner's pillows.
Sweet new books.
Melody Miller's adorable booth.
And of course, lots of beautiful quilts. We saw lots of hexi's.
So that's about all I can upload here. I came home yesterday so totally inspired to sew, design, and just go CREATE!
Wishing you the same,
