I have a confession to make: my family does not have handmade Christmas stockings (well, until now). We have been using a miss-matched set of store bought Christmas stockings because I never plan ahead enough to make handmade stockings. When it is time to put them up, who has time to sew them? No one ever.
I know that many of you are teachers, sewing teachers even, so you might not agree with me - but it's really hard to teach a child to sew! Especially your own strong willed little girl who thinks she already knows everything about sewing because she's been watching you!
The last time I went to the airport I was carrying my beautiful Garden on the Go tote and it was so much fun to have people ask me where I got it and answer that I MADE IT! Some people recognized that my bag was handmade and they asked if I was the maker - yay!
That's why I decided to make you a list of my favorite DIY sewing project that will help you have that same fun when you travel handmade. I know you don't want me to make you wait for it, so let's go!
