This week I spent time working on a new free pattern for you... the Pochi Pouch! This Japanese style zipper pouch is the perfect size for sewing supplies, make-up, or pens and pencils. It has a flat bottom to help it stand up.
This is a pattern that I helped the folks at Lecien Fabrics translate into English for their beautiful new One Step Quilts fabric. The pattern for this pouch is printed right on the fabric! I'm getting ready to share the tutorial with you - along with instructions for adapting it to use with your own fabric - or a left over quilt block like I did for this latest pouch!
So order some One Step Quilts fabric or pull your orphan quilt blocks out of your stash and get ready to make Pochi Pouches when I post the tutorial on Monday. :)
And now it's your turn... what have you been sewing up lately? Upload a picture and show us in our Show Off Saturday Picture Party!
Remember, you don't need to have blog to add your picture and show off something you made this week. Just leave the 'link' field blank. But if you do have a blog and want to add a link to your picture, great! The most clicked link will be spotlighted here next Friday.
I would love it if you shared our linky party on your blog... here's a button to make it easy.
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
Please, no links to items for sale. Those links will be deleted. Thank you!
