Check out these beautiful dresses made by you in our Just For You 'Sewlebrity Sewalong'! Earlier this month we introduced two projects from Just For You (the Crafty Satchel and the Quilting Bee Dress). The book contains patterns for both projects, and more... 24 fun things to sew for yourself!
Heidi Staples (of Fabric Mutt) stitched up a beautiful Crafty Satchel with leather handles and Melissa Mortensen (the Polka Dot Chair) made a Quilting Bee Dress to kick things off and now I get to display some reader photos!
Michelle (of Falafel and the Bee - check out her blog, it's delightful!) was the first one to post photos of this amazing dress she sewed for her daughter. Talk about edgy and young! I love it.
Then Celeste posted pictures of the dresses she made for her daughter and herself. Lovely! This dress is so easy and quick to sew, and looks good on everyone.
Tina J. joined us again and sewed a cute Quilting Bee Dress for herself. She was surprised by the flexibility of the sizing... it's the drawstring waistband!
In fact... Sarah even made a tunic version for herself when she was 6 months pregnant. The adjustable waist tie makes it all possible.
There's still time to join in our Just For You Sewlebrity Sewalong this month. If you send me photos (use the contact button above) or post in our facebook group, I'll add them to this post. If you join in later I'll put your photos in that month's fan post!
And make sure you send me your mailing address because I want to send everyone who sews along with us and submits a picture of their project a 'Sewlebrity' button!
