I love the Variable Star Pattern. It's perfect for Christmas. I'm calling this quilt 'Merry Stars.'
The labels were super easy to use. I ironed some fabric to a sheet of Quilter's Freezer Paper and printed the label design on the fabric using my inkjet printer. That may not be the intended use for Quilter's Freezer Paper, but I've done it before and it works great. Then I simply folded the labels and sewed them to my quilt corners before finishing the binding by hand. I'll totally be using them on more quilts this Christmas I think.
And what about you? Are you sewing for the holidays yet? Show us what you've been stitching up in our Show Off Saturday Linky Party!
Remember, if you decide to post your picture(s) online (like on facebook, flickr, or your blog) the linky page will let you enter a link to the page where it is so we can visit it. If it's not posted online yet, you may skip that part and upload a picture from your computer. We all can't wait to see!
Don't forget, the most clicked project will be spotlighted here next Friday. :)
I would love it if you shared our linky party on your blog... here's a button to make it easy.
And don't forget to share the love and visit some of the other fun blogs in the party.
