Friday Spotlight: It's a tie!

It happened again! Two pictures from last week's Show Off Saturday Linky Party got the exact same high number of clicks. There were so many fun projects last week.

So in no particular order...

Val of Val's Quilting Studio lured us all to her blog with this darling story quilt that she is going to quilt this month (it's one of her goals)...

And while I was there I spied these adorable little heart blocks that she is going to teach us how to make next month (also one of her goals). I don't know about you, but I am so inspired by reading other peoples goal lists. Makes me want to make my own. Head on over to Val's Quilting Studio to see what else is on her list. :)

Dasha of Patching Pixies showed off these blocks that I love for so many reasons! First they are all such varying shades of blue. Lovely. And next I just love the scrappy feeling of them. Dasha will you tell me the pattern or tutorial you used? I just have to try this.

In this same blog post, Dasha also shows how to line up sashed blocks. Awesome. So head over to Patching Pixies to see how.

Okay, everybody... tomorrow is our next Show Off Saturday Linky Party. Have you sewn anything or have you been too distracted by our amazing 'It's a New Year Sewalong' that I wrote about Wednesday?

I have over a hundred little things to show you, can you guess what they are? Here's a hint: they have paper in the middle.

I want to see what you've been up to too, so get out your camera and take a picture. Remember, you can link to your blog, your facebook photo, flickr, instagram, whatever. And the most clicked picture will be spotlighted next Friday.

Happy Sewing!
